UP Distillers Association (UPDA) is an apex Body of Distillery Industry of Uttar Pradesh having 85 Distilleries & 20 coming up in near future. The UPDA Association is a 40 year old body founded & actively rendering services as interface between its Members & Government being an active participant in the UP Liquor Growth story through its Advocacy Role for the Policy Makers and Regulators of the State & Central level. Association’s Seminars, International Summits allow healthy and constructive discussions between the Government, Industry and International Agencies bringing out the vitals for growth.

Since its inception in 1983, the Uttar Pradesh Distillers Association (UPDA) has been the shining beacon of the Distillery Industry. As we celebrate a momentous milestone in 2023, commemorating four decades of unparalleled excellence, UPDA stands tall as the undisputed leader. Our unwavering dedication to quality and innovation has garnered official recognition from various state government departments, including Excise, Pollution, Industry, Taxation, and Labour. With an impressive 90 distilleries already in operation in Uttar Pradesh and 33 more on the horizon, UPDA members take immense pride in producing over 90% of the state’s potable Country liquor, truly igniting the spirit of the region – Nurturing Growth & Governance.

 Strengthening it’s long Journey Brick-Brick, UPDA has been conducting Annual International Summits garnering acclaims from fraternity across the Globe and widely covered by Print & TV Media, Leading Trade delegations to various Countries like Brazil, Australia, Scotland, Ireland to expand economic horizons, promoting trade, fostering good relationships  – A Trusted Voice of the Industry.

From 2023, UPDA has taken a giant Leap forward in closely contributing to India’s ambitious Ethanol Blending Program by  actively engaged in initiatives like representing India at Global Ethanol Summit in USA, collaborating with Research institutions namely Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Indian Institute of Maize Research for Maize development in India and even spread Wings Internationally to Collaborate with US Grains Council. The Association has been also fostering partnerships with Invest India for investment and technology influx in Biofuels and Grain-based distilleries – Immense Pride Adding yet another glorious chapter to Association’s accomplishments.

On National level we are talking of Viksit Bharat @2047, but for UPDA our mission is Viksit UPDA @2033 the 50 years of this elite body – A Vision to Leapfrog for tomorrow.
